Cameron Smith

Cameron Smith is a Digital Content Producer for FootballTransfers, having joined the team upon its inception in November 2020.

He graduated from the University of Gloucestershire in 2023, earning First Class Honours from the Sports Journalism course.

During his time at university, he worked for Wolverhampton Wanderers’ media team on an internship, producing written content for the club’s matchday programme and website. Before starting the internship, he had interviews with Max Kilman and Owen Otasowie published on the club’s website, with the latter being adapted for publication on the official Premier League website.

In the past, he has written for Get French Football News, Football.London, Breaking the Lines, GloucestershireLive, SurreyLive, The Ealing Times and Channel 4’s Paralympic website during the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Games. Furthermore, he was previously the chief Chelsea writer at FootballTransfers’ sister site FootballCritic.
