Wonderkid reveals dream of playing for Man Utd
Manchester United talent Amad Diallo has revealed that it is his dream to play regular football for his parent club.
The 20-year-old has been tearing up the Championship with Sunderland and he is keen to become a first-team regular next season. The form he has shown in the second division this term certainly makes that a distinct possibility.
The Ivorian has racked up a very impressive 11 goals and two assists in 31 Championship outings for Sunderland. Indeed, his impact has been a massive reason why the newly-promoted Black Cats were constantly in and around the playoff spots earlier in the campaign.

Their recent form, however, has been far less impressive. Just one win in their last eight has put any promotion hopes to bed as the club has slipped down to 11th, though that has not stopped Diallo from catching the eye, scoring twice in Sunderland's crazy 4-4 Good Friday draw with Hull City.
What did Diallo say?
Speaking to FourFourTwo, the 20-year-old revealed that he was in awe after arriving at Old Trafford: "I was so happy to sign for Manchester United: it’s a club with a massive history, famous all around the world. I remember my first training session after I joined: I was very nervous; there were some huge stars in the dressing room and I was looking around thinking, 'Wow, I can’t believe I’m here.'"
He also acknowledged that he hasn't always been at his best since his €21m move from Atalanta in 2021, having thus far only made nine appearances for the first team and spending most of his time at the club out on loan. "I haven’t shown my best for them yet," he said, "but I hope next season I can return and prove my talent."
