Man Utd will sign Harry Kane if Tottenham fail to make Champions League
Manchester United believe they will end up landing Harry Kane this summer if Tottenham fail to reach the Champions League.
If Spurs finish outside the top four, the Red Devils believe they are in with a chance of getting the striker, according to The Sun.
The report states that a spot in the European competition will be pivotal in plying Kane away from north London - even them lower their £ 100 million asking price.
Is it thought that the club have been encouraged by a third party close to Kane.

The Premier League striker, who will turn 30 in July, is already Spurs’ all-time top scorer and so that could be a reason to move on and achieve success elsewhere.
Even though Man Utd were smashed 7-0 at Anfield on Sunday, there is still a belief that Kane would stand more chance at winning silverware at Man Utd rather than staying with Spurs.
The England captain’s £200,000-a-week deal is up at the end of next season and his current side have so far failed to tie him down to fresh terms.
It is believed that Manchester City are no longer in the running after they brought in Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.
The star has 27 Premier League goals, at the top of the goalscorer table, and is in the race for the Golden Boot.
Erik ten Hag looking for number nine
Erik ten Hag is looking for a marquee signing for the forward position for the summer window and Kane is on the list.
He is looking to fill the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo left in November.
In January the side brought in on-loan replacement Wout Weghorst, but the Burnley man has just one goal from 14 appearances.
Spurs are currently in fourth place following their 1-0 loss to Wolves on Saturday.
After the win over their arch-rivals Liverpool are just three points behind them with a game in hand.
