Newcastle representatives have been busy at work in Portugal, with Ramos one they have admired since last year.
The Benfica striker is not one for them this window, however, and Newcastle’s tentative interest is set to be dashed.
Felix wants Champions League football next season and Atletico Madrid are asking for around €100 million for the player who joined Chelsea on loan in January.
Luis Campos' influence
PSG see him as a good fit for their system next season and their sporting advisor Luis Campos is a fan. Through the 58-year-old, PSG have a good line to Mendes and two of his hottest prospects are set to make the move his club, we are told.
Campos also works at Celta Vigo and we are told that Gabri Veiga is likely to join PSG as a result, though Chelsea remain interested in the young Spaniard.

He is out of contract next year and has stated his desire to remain with the club for another season. However, he has refused to sign a new deal at the Parc des Princes and looks likely to join Real Madrid next year.
