PSG refuse to rule out Mbappe Real Madrid transfer
Paris Saint-Germain director Luis Campos has admitted that Kylian Mbappe could eventually leave but believes that the forward will remain at the club for the time being.
Mbappe’s future has long-been up for debate, having initially agreed to join Real Madrid last summer before having a change of heart and signing a new two-year deal with PSG.
However, the Frenchman has been a frustrated figure this season, with intense speculation that he wants to leave PSG after the club failed to keep a number of promises they had made him.

With Mbappe’s set to enter the final year of his deal next summer – although he does have an option to extend – there is a belief that the 23-year-old is keen to pursue a move to Real again.
PSG have always insisted that Mbappe has not asked to leave but Campos admitted that the former Monaco man’s long-term future could lie at any club.
"I love LaLiga, but the decision to play in Spain is his, not mine," Campos said during a press conference. "Kylian could go on to play in any league, but at the moment I think he is doing really well in France and at PSG.
"Football has a short memory, and football also often gives us very important lessons. I think Kylian has made his decision to stay at PSG, and now the club has to enjoy his quality.
"I don't know what will happen tomorrow, the important thing is to enjoy him with us now."
Will Real Madrid make a move for Mbappe?
Despite Mbappe’s apparent desire to join Real, the club remain unconvinced at going back in for a player who publicly humiliated them when he performed his U-turn in May.
The club are still considering long-term replacements for Karim Benzema but they may prioritise a move for Manchester City forward Erling Haaland, who is thought to have a €200 million release clause that becomes active in 2024.
REVEALED: Why Mbappe rejected Real Madrid this summer
Real are still flourishing with their attacking core, with the likes of Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior continuing to develop into world class talents.
Dortmund midfielder Jude Belligham is understood to be the club’s top target next summer, with Mbappe only being considered an option if he becomes available on a cut-price deal considering his contractual situation.
