McTominay tipped for Rangers transfer by Man Utd legend
Scott McTominay should rebuild his career at Rangers after falling down the pecking order at Manchester United according to former Premier League winner Paul Parker.
Things looked ominous for McTominay when United spent €80 million on Real Madrid's Brazilian star Casemiro, a player in his position, at the start of the season.
McTominay might have been able to partner Casemiro as the other half of a double pivot in Erik ten Hag's preferred 4-2-3-1, but Christian Eriksen and Fred have both had more minutes in the role.

When Eriksen strained his ankle ligaments in January, the Red Devils moved to sign Marcel Sabitzer on loan from Bayern Munich.
In short, McTominay's Old Trafford career looks to be drawing to a close, and Parker, who won the league a United right-back, thinks the midfielder should take a crack at Scottish football.

Parker: 'McTominay not good enough for Celtic'
"Scott McTominay has to move away from Man United in the summer," he told MyBettingSites. "He wants to stay in the Premier League but it's going to be tough for him to find a new club. He's not good enough to play for a top side and the smaller clubs can't pay his wages.
"I think it could be a possibility for him to go to Rangers. He's not good enough to play for Celtic. There is no way he would be able to play regularly for Celtic in the way they play. He'll have a better chance of playing if he moves to Rangers."

Lancashire born McTominay has 37 caps for Scotland but has never played in the country, having first joined United's youth academy at the age of five.
Despite his time on the bench this season, he is still valued at €30.6m (£27m) by FootballTransfers' in-house algorithm - a figure that puts him well outside the budget of either Rangers or Celtic.
Leeds, West Ham and Newcastle have also been linked with bids for McTominay. If he did move north of the border, it would likely be on loan.
