Mason Mount hires new agent as Liverpool transfer moves closer
Mason Mount looks even likelier to leave Chelsea at the end of the season after hiring a new agent.
Football Insider are reporting that Mount's father has enlisted a new agent to help the 24-year-old resolve his contract situation.
The England international will have just a year remaining on his contract at the end of the 2022-23 season.

He has been in talks with Chelsea over a new contract but the latest reports are that they have ground to a halt.
Mount, who has been one of the Blues' key players in recent seasons, wants a new deal to reflect his performance in that time.
But he has been poor under both Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter this season, so the Chelsea hierarchy are unwilling to cave in to his demands.
Liverpool favourites to sign Mount
Liverpool are favourites to sign Mount but Man Utd, Arsenal and Newcastle have all been linked.
Mount’s salary demands from Chelsea are reported to be around €300,000 per week.

Chelsea believe that to be unreasonable given Mount has scored just three goals and delivered two assists in 23 Premier League appearances.
His last goal contribution was a 90th minute strike on December 27 to clinch a 2-0 Chelsea win over Bournemouth.
