Mason Mount’s STAGGERING salary demands to reject Liverpool
Mason Mount is demanding a staggering £258,000 per week in order to sign a new contract at Chelsea.
That is according to Sky Sport Germany’s Florian Plettenberg, who reports that Mount is requesting a huge increase on his current wage of £86,000 per week.
Pettenberg adds that the chances of a new contract being agreed are far off, with talks being very complicated.

He says that Liverpool are pushing to sign him this summer, while Manchester City are also interested in him.
Unless Mount lowers his demands, then the chances of him staying at Chelsea beyind this summer don’t look good.
Mount to leave Chelsea
Mount’s contract at Chelsea expires at the end of next season and talks over a renewal have made no headway for over a year.
It now seems increasingly likely that Mount will leave Chelsea at the end of the season.
It is widely understood that Chelsea will sell Mount this summer if a new contract isn’t signed, to avoid losing him on a free transfer in 2024.
Mount has been a key player for Chelsea in recent seasons but, like most of his teammates, has endured a miserable 2022-23 campaign.
He has managed just three goals and four assists in all competitions as Chelsea have performed woefully.
The Blues are 11th in the Premier League and out of all cup competitions. This is despite spending a world record amount of money on new players this season.
They are currently on their third manager of the campaign in interim coach Frank Lampard after the sackings of Thomas Tuchel and Graham Potter.
