REVEALED: How Bayern will spend €150m summer budget
Bayern Munich are set to back Thomas Tuchel with a €150 million transfer kitty to bolster his squad ahead of the 2023/24 season.
The Bavarians have already signed Konrad Laimer from RB Leipzig and Raphael Guerreiro from Borussia Dortmund this summer, both on free transfers.
The Bundesliga giants, who have won 11 league titles in a row, could end up spending more than that allocated €150m, but that would rely on selling some of their current assets.

French defender Lucas Hernandez has been sold to Paris Saint-Germain for a reported €45m, and that money is set to be reinvested in Napoli star Kim Min-jae, who could cost €50m.
The Korea Republic international shone at the Serie A champions last season and was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United at the start of the window.
However, the Red Devils were soon overtaken by Bayern in the race to land his signature and Tuchel’s side are expected to confirm the signing of the Napoli man in the coming days.

Furthermore, much of Bayern’s transfer focus has been on their pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane. The England international is top of Tuchel’s wish list this season, although the club saw their opening bid turned down by Daniel Levy. They are now preparing their second offer for Kane, which is believed to be a bid of €82m.
It’s believed that with the fee generated from Lucas Hernandez, Bayern’s €150m transfer kitty will not be affected by the purchase of Kim Min-jae.
As a result, their €150m budget will be spent on Kane, Kyle Walker and a defensive midfielder, according to Bild.
Walker to Bayern?
Walker remains a focus for Bayern, despite the fact that Manchester City have offered the Englishman a new contract to extend his stay at the reigning Premier League and Champions League winners.
However, Fabrizio Romano has reported that Walker remains undecided on his future and has not yet accepted Man City’s contract offer.
Last season, Benjamin Pavard was Bayern’s preferred right-back option, but he has continually stressed that he wants to play at centre-back instead of full-back.
