Real Madrid target 'next Robben' with Perez a fan
Villarreal star Samuel Chukwueze has impressed this season, and Real Madrid boss Florentino Perez is said to be infatuated with the Nigerian.
The 23-year-old recently put in a spectacular performance as Villarreal stole all three points from the Santiago Bernabeu, beating Real Madrid 3-2 on their own soil. Chukwueze contributed with two goals, the second of which was reminiscent of former Los Blancos man Arjen Robben.
Indeed, Chukwueze has often been likened to the Dutchman due to the similar playing style of the two. Robben was famous for cutting in from the right wing and letting fly with his deadly left foot - everybody knew it was coming, but few could stop it. Chukwueze did the same at the Bernabeu.

In 40 appearances across all competitions this season, the Nigerian has netted 13 goals and contributed with 11 assists, making him the Yellow Submarine's most dangerous player. Villarreal have, smartly, put a €100 million release clause in his contract, but reports suggest that he could be available for as little as €50m this summer - and one club is particularly interested.
Chukwueze and Vini Jr
Real Madrid boss Florentino Perez apparently "dreams" of having Vinicius Jr on the left and Samuel Chukwueze on the right. They would be Real's "two daggers." During the game at the Bernabeu, Chukwueze "dazzled the Blancos leaders, including the club's president, Florentino Pérez," according to Marca.
The 23-year-old has long been linked with a move to the Premier League and interest from England has not cooled says the Spanish paper, but it is Real who are now particularly keen on landing Chukwueze.

His contract expires in 2024 and Villarreal do not want to lose their star man, therefore he could be available for half of his release clause in the next transfer window, if reports in Spain are to be believed.
