Real Madrid 'CERTAIN' to complete 'most desired signing'
Real Madrid are confident that they will be able to complete a transfer deal for Bayern Munich full-back Alphonso Davies, according to reports from Spain.
While Los Blancos are eager to add Kylian Mbappe to their squad from PSG, Davies is the player who is their “most desired signing” for next season, Relevo states.
Unlike Mbappe, there is “complete certainty that Davies will end up wearing white in 2024”.
Real Madrid wages: How much does each player earn?
It is stated that Real Madrid have been working on this deal for months, with the Canada international rejecting several new contract offers with Bayern Munich in a bid to facilitate this move.
This stance – unlike the one taken by Mbappe, who penned a new PSG deal in 2022 – has fuelled Los Blancos’ hopes of signing a player who is out of contract at the Allianz Arena in 2025 and, therefore, liable to be sold next summer before he departs as a free agent.
Indeed, Relevo states: “With the footballer and his agent, Nedal Househ, the harmony has been total for months.”

Real Madrid believe they can complete a repeat of the deal that saw them land Toni Kroos in 2014 for just €25 million.
Los Blancos are of the opinion that it might take twice that figure to sign Davies, who has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €47m.
Nevertheless, that will seem good money to the Bernabeu side, whose regular left-back Ferland Mendy is troubled by persistent injury problems, prompting Eduardo Camavinga to be used in a role that is very much his second-choice position.
Davies and Mbappe to Real Madrid?
While the prospect of seeing Davies and Mbappe lining up together for Los Blancos next season might be an exciting one for fans to consider, it is unlikely.
Mbappe may be available as a free agent, but given his wages and bonus payments, it will be difficult for Real Madrid to sign both players.
Indeed, Florentino Perez has made a habit of signing one marquee player each summer in recent years, and according to this report, it will be Davies in 2024.
