Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid edges closer
Jude Bellingham’s move to Real Madrid is getting near as top brass from the La Liga club are set to meet with the Borussia Dortmund star.
Los Blancos’ CEO Jose Angel Sanchez along with a delegation also travel to Dortmund this week to wrap up the Bellingham deal, reports Bild.
The midfielder was linked with a move to Liverpool but the club opted to source several players in his position rather than paying the full whack for the England international.
Bellingham wanted the Reds but they seem unwilling to pay the asking price that Dortmund have set.

Further reports have suggested that the two clubs are discussing a fee of just over €100m plus add-ons.
It was believed before that Dortmund were after around €140m but Real will look to negotiate downwards of that figure.
Real Madrid have also been linked with a move for Kylian Mbappe via the English press, but with Lionel Messi and Neymar likely headed for the exit at the Parc des Princes, it is improbable that a move for the Frenchman happens unless the Spanish outfit bid an astronomical fee.
Real not in for Mbappe
Furthermore, Marca released a report suggesting that the trajectory of Vinicius Jr means that Real Madrid will not make a move for Mbappe.
The club do not foresee any scenario that involves a negotiation with PSG. They do not want to add to Nasser Al Khelaifi's team's bank balance as competition between the two clubs grows.
Real Madrid are looking to continue their dominance in Europe, having won the Champions League last season and playing Manchester City in the second-leg semifinal tonight at the Etihad Stadium. The winner of the contest, which is currently level 1-1, will go on to play Inter Milan in the final.
Inter beat Milan at the San Siro 1-0 on Tuesday to follow on from their 2-0 win over their arch-rivals in the second leg, to book a place at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.
