Jude Bellingham transfer Power Ranking: Who will sign the Dortmund star?
The Jude Bellingham transfer saga is set to be one of the stories of the summer, with the Borussia Dortmund midfielder the hottest property on the market.
This is a story that has been bubbling already for months, with Europe’s leading clubs putting themselves in position to make a move for the 19-year-old.
While it’s unclear where Bellingham will wind up in the summer, a hierarchy of his possible destinations is emerging that points to where he will go.

Where will Bellingham play next season?
7. Liverpool
Liverpool were for a long time seen as a leading challenger for Bellingham, but owners FSG have dropped out of the running for the teenager, despite a clear need for midfield reinforcements. Perhaps the thinking is that one player will not solve the problems at Anfield, while a lack of Champions League football makes them less attractive in the short term in any case.
6. PSG
The Ligue 1 club is a shambles right now and unappealing for any superstar to be committing their future towards while there are better options on the table. It’s not clear who will be coaching PSG next season while the player unrest there is obvious. Money can solve a lot of problems, but this is unlikely to be one of those.
5. Chelsea
Another club with no shortage of problems to seek, the Blues may have spent lavishly since Todd Boehly and the Clearlake Consortium took the reins of the club, but this has yielded no success. Like PSG, they have no long-term plan in terms of their management, while they are unlikely to be in the Champions League in 2023/24.
4. Dortmund
He couldn’t, could he? Bellingham has not ruled out the possibility of staying at Borussia Dortmund for one season more – and there’s little doubt that his club would love him to do just that. He’s clearly content at the Bundesliga club and is in no rush to move but could clearly be tempted if given the right option.
3. Man City
According to reports in Bild, Bellingham wants a club that has “passion, honour and reputation” over money. Surprisingly, then, they do not rule out City, who have only become a force over the last 15 years. Bellingham’s great friend Erling Haaland is at City, who presently look the strongest club in the world and have endless wealth. It is an intoxicating mix and they should not be ruled out.
2. Man Utd
The Old Trafford side do boast the three attributes that Bellingham is looking for but questions still have to be asked over the competitiveness of Erik ten Hag’s side. Although they are moving in the right direction, they are still struggling to qualify for the Champions League next season. Ten Hag, though, worked wonders last summer to get key players to sign – can he succeed with Bellingham where he failed with Frenkie de Jong though?

1. Real Madrid
No doubt Real Madrid are favourites to land the 19-year-old as things stand. They tick all the key boxes for the teenage midfielder, albeit there are a couple of lingering issues. Firstly, can they bid sufficiently to match Dortmund’s asking price? Second, who will be in charge next season with doubts hanging over Carlo Ancelotti? This is not a done deal yet.
