‘Kane this summer, Mbappe next’ – Real Madrid star outlines transfer plans
Real Madrid should sign Harry Kane now and make a move for Kylian Mbappe in a year’s time, says Nacho.
The defender has been giving his views on the ideal scenario for Real – who find themselves in need of a new number nine after Karim Benzema decided to leave for Saudi champions Al-Ittihad.
Tottenham star Kane is one big name being linked with a move to the Bernabeu – along with Mbappe, who it’s well-documented that Real have tried to sign from PSG in the past, and Chelsea’s Kai Havertz.

And it sounds like Nacho, who has just signed a new contract keeping him at Real next season, wouldn’t mind lining up alongside Kane. He told El Chiringuito TV: “Harry Kane would fit in perfectly this summer and Mbappe would come in the next [summer].”
Kane has also been strongly linked with Manchester United – who share Real’s need for a new out-and-out centre-forward.
Staying in the Premier League would allow the England captain to continue chasing down Alan Shearer’s all-time goals record in the competition – but the lure of Real would surely make any professional think long and hard about their future.

The opportunity Kane and Mbappe need?
That might apply especially to Kane, given that he’s still yet to win a single trophy in his career – with Spurs’ last silverware coming before their record goalscorer had made his senior debut.
As for Mbappe, he might have won plenty of domestic trophies with PSG – and the World Cup with France – but he’s never tasted glory in the Champions League.
Real ought to be well-placed to deliver the latter: they’ve been champions of Europe five times in the last decade alone.
