Mourinho tells Roma player who 'betrayed team-mates': Get out!
Jose Mourinho has told one Roma player in no uncertain terms that he is to find a new club during the January transfer window.
The former Manchester United manager exploded after a 1-1 draw with Sassuolo on Tuesday, which saw Roma lose ground in the race to finish in the top four of Serie A.
Tammy Abraham ended a difficult run of form by giving Mourinho’s side the lead with 10 minutes remaining, but a strike from Andrea Pinamonti five minutes later squared the game to leave the Portuguese furious.

“It was a team that wanted to win against a tough opponent, I am sorry that the efforts of the team were betrayed by the attitude of one unprofessional player,” he told DAZN. “An unprofessional attitude that is not fair to his team-mates, that is what disappoints me. A point away from home is still not a negative result and I am happy with the general attitude of my squad.”
Who is Mourinho angry with?
Mourinho refused to name the player who is the target of his anger.
“I won’t tell you. I had 16 players on the field tonight and I liked the attitude of 15 of them. In January, he needs to find himself another club,” he said.

It has been reported by Corriere dello Sport that the player Mourinho is frustrated with is full-back Rick Karsdorp, who came on as a replacement for Zeki Celik and lost several challenges, was wasteful with his crossing and was a weak link in the build up to the equalising goal.
Roma are presently sixth in Serie A, though with one win in their last four games, they have failed to take advantage of the poor form of some of those clubs around them to move into the top four.
Mourinho’s side have one final game to play before the World Cup, with a home fixture against Torino to come on Sunday.
