Why Romelu Lukaku will return to Chelsea this summer
Romelu Lukaku could return to Chelsea this summer after a season on loan at Inter, according to reports.
Lukaku's stock has plummeted since he re-joined Chelsea from Inter for €115m in August 2021, enduring a miserable season at Stamford Bridge before returning to the Nerazzurri on loan last summer.
Now, the Daily Mail are reporting that the Italian giants lack the finances to keep Lukaku at the club beyond this season.

Chelsea have been struggling for goals this season, with summer signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang rarely making the starting lineup
While youngster David Datro Fofana isn't ready yet, and incumbent No.9 Kai Havertz is a midfielder by trade.
