Man Utd have FA Cup final plan for Amad that shows his future
Manchester United will invite Amad to attend next month’s FA Cup final against Manchester City, as the prodigious winger prepares to return from his loan spell at Sunderland.
Amad – who our Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) model rates at €5.8m – has enjoyed a breakout season in the Championship, top-scoring with 13 goals for Sunderland as they made the play-offs in their first campaign back in England’s second tier.
The Ivory Coast international has made 40 appearances in all competitions this term, also featuring as Sunderland pushed Premier League Fulham all the way in fourth round of the FA Cup.

And, according to Manchester Evening News, Amad is set to be at Wembley for the FA Cup final – which takes place on June 3, a week after the Championship play-off final at the same venue – as the club try to make him feel involved with the first-team squad.
Amad is believed to have had a suit in his measurements reserved for the showpiece match – which will see Man Utd looking to claim their second trophy of 2022/23, and potentially stop Man City from completing a treble.
The 20-year-old has already made nine senior appearances for Man Utd – including one in the FA Cup the season before last.

Ten Hag trusts the process
Amad got his first sustained taste of first-team football last season during a loan spell with Rangers – for whom he scored three goals in 10 Scottish Premier League outings.
He joined Man Utd from Atalanta in January 2021 for €21m – despite not having made a single start for the Serie A side.
Ten Hag admitted that Man Utd did consider recalling Amad from his Sunderland loan in January but ultimately opted against doing so, explaining: “We consider everything, but I have a little bit of reservation about [recalling Amad] because I don’t want to stop the process [of his development].”
