Bruno Fernandes vs Casemiro: Ten Hag WANTS feuding Man Utd stars
Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes were arguing after Manchester United's 1-0 win over Aston Villa, and it is this passion that can drive them to success.
Manchester United have been much improved under the Erik ten Hag regime. The new, smart and ruthless Red Devils are keen to build on the foundation laid this season and although some things still need to be adjusted, particularly in terms of squad building, there are already signs that United can achieve greatness under the Dutchman.
While there is plenty of deadwood that needs to be cleared out before United can get back to challenging for league titles and Champions Leagues and the ownership question has to be resolved first, Ten Hag and company are looking to end this season on a high after their disappointing Europa League exit at the hands of Sevilla.

The first step towards a solid end of the campaign was taken at Old Trafford at the weekend. A 39th-minute strike by Bruno Fernandes sealed the Red Devils' 19th win of the Premier League campaign, and it was the Portuguese who was the centre of attention again after the game as he was spotted arguing with midfield partner Casemiro.
Passion fuels success
The Brazilian had to come to Fernandes' rescue in stoppage time after the 28-year-old lost possession while attempting a needless dribble against Villa. Nothing came of the ensuing attack and free kick, but Casemiro was nevertheless miffed and made this clear to Fernandes, who responded in kind. There was no malice involved and the two hugged it out afterwards.
It is precisely this passion and perfectionism that coach Erik ten Hag wants to see from his players. Indeed, Fernandes had to be told to 'stop moaning' by teammate Jadon Sancho earlier in the game such is the Portuguese's drive to succeed.

Ten Hag hammered home the point when he said of Fernandes after the game: "He’s such a big leader, he gives so much energy to the team. His determination, his passion, his resilience, we need such players if you want to win games and make trophies."
