Ronaldo labels Man Utd an ‘AMATEUR’ club: The details
Cristiano Ronaldo sensationally labelled Manchester United an “amateur” club, according to Piers Morgan.
Ronaldo shocked the world of football this past week as he sat down with TalkTV host Morgan for a no-holds barred interview.
During the interview, the Portuguese superstar launched a sensational attack on various key figures at Man Utd, including manager Erik ten Hag and owners, The Glazers.

Ronaldo claimed that he had been betrayed by key figures at Man Utd and that Ten Hag and others were trying to force him out of the club.
He criticised a series of Man Utd figures, including Ten Hag, former caretaker manager Ralf Rangnick, and club legends Wayne Rooney and Gary Neville.
And now, Morgan has claimed that earlier this year Ronaldo told him in a phone call that he regretted returning to Man Utd in the summer of 2021.
The 37-year-old even labelled United an “amateur” club.
What did Ronaldo say to Morgan?
"His dream comeback just eight months earlier had turned into a nightmare and for an hour, he passionately articulated all the problems he thought were behind the club’s demise from perennial champions under his father figure Sir Alex Ferguson, to abject mediocrity,” Morgan said of the phone call with Ronaldo in his Times column.
"'I can’t just keep ignoring what’s going on inside the club right now,” he told me.
“’It’s so amateur. No defined goal, no leadership, no organisation, just a desert of ideas. The future is very dark unless things change very fast.' I asked him if he regretted going back and he sighed: 'Perhaps my heart spoke louder than reason.'"
These comments will only further fuel the fire burning in the row between Ronaldo and Man Utd.
It now seems almost certain that Ronaldo will not play for Man Utd ever again, with the rescission of his contract next month seeming to be the most likely conclusion to this episode.
