Revealed: The 15 Man Utd players who could be sold this summer
Manchester United are preparing for a summer overhaul that could see as many as 15 players depart, with head coach Erik ten Hag keen to offload several underperforming stars before the start of the 2023/23 season.
The Red Devils are set to take drastic action following their humiliating 5-2 aggregate defeat to Sevilla in the Europa League quarter-finals by selling unwanted assets, with the for-sale list including club captain Harry Maguire and injury-prone forward Anthony Martial.
The Guardian have reported that the future of up to 15 senior players in the Man Utd squad is under threat due to Ten Hag's desire to clear out deadwood and upgrade several areas of the pitch.

The Red Devils reportedly need to generate funds in order to sign their priority summer transfer targets, which means the likes of Maguire and Martial may be deemed surplus to requirements and moved on.

Victor Lindelof, Fred and Scott McTominay could also depart, while Jadon Sancho, who has failed to live up to expectations since arriving from Borussia Dortmund in 2021, is also for-sale.
Donny van de Beek, Anthony Elanga, Dean Henderson and Brandon Williams have also been transfer listed. Alex Telles, Hannibal Mejbri and Eric Bailly, who are currently out on loan, are almost certainly set to depart, while the out-of-contract Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe won't be extending their deals at Old Trafford.
David de Gea may also leave, but talks over signing a new contract remain ongoing. Wout Weghorst and Marcel Sabizter are also set to return to Burnley and Bayern Munich once their loan deals expire, although Ten Hag may negotiate with Bayern over signing Sabizter on a permanent deal.
