How much will it cost Spurs to sack Antonio Conte?
Antonio Conte is set to receive a sizeable compensation if - or rather when - he gets sacked by Tottenham Hotspur.
The Italian coach is expected to depart the North London club as early as this week following his brutal rant on Saturday.
Tottenham couldn't muster more than a 3-3 draw with bottom-side Southampton, which saw them drop vital points in the race for top four after conceding a stoppage-time penalty. The Saints clawed their way back from 3-1 down as Spurs completely capitulated.

Conte didn't hold back in the press conference after the game, throwing his players and the club's ownership under the bus.
"I see selfish players, I see players that don’t want to help each other and don’t put their heart [in]," remarked the 53-year-old.
“Why? Because they are used to it here," he continued, "they are used to it. They don’t play for something important. They don’t want to play under pressure, they don’t want to play under stress. It is easy in this way. Tottenham’s story is this. Twenty years there is the owner and they never won something..."
Unsurprisingly, this rant could now cost Conte his job. Considering the compensation he is due to receive, however, he won't be shedding any tears if he were to depart.

A €4 million payout
The Italian's current Spurs contract is worth some €15m per annum, which reportedly makes him the Premier League's third-highest-paid manager.
Included in his costly deal is a sizeable payout clause. If he were to get sacked, which appears increasingly likely at this point, Conte would pocket €4m.

As the Mirror reports, "Tottenham did hold another 12-month option in the Italian's contract, but there is absolutely no desire - on either side - to extend their time together." This means that Antonio Conte will soon have another €4m in his bank account.
