Lassina Traore was on the books at Ajax for years before eventually making the €10 million switch to Shakhtar in the summer of 2021.
He has already become a popular figure among the fans at Shakhtar after scoring two goals in a 3-0 defeat of arch rivals Dynamo Kyiv in the Ukrainian Super Cup.
Unfortunately for the striker, he is set to miss up to a year of action after suffering a major knee injury in a Champions League fixture in October.
When he returns, though, he'll be keen to make up for lost time.
