The Italian had an excellent 2020/21 campaign for both club and country, culminating in European Championship success over England.

However, the arrival of Massimiliano Allegri has coincided with a dip in form so far this season.

And Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is wanting to help the winger rediscover his fine form at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues boss is a huge admirer of Chiesa, according to Fabrizio Romano's 'Here We Go' podcast.

Juventus are adamant that they want to keep hold of arguably their best player, but he could be allowed to leave on one condition.

Chiesa to Chelsea?

Juventus are currently seventh in the Serie A table, seven points off fourth place Atalanta and 11 points behind leaders Napoli.

This is cause for concern for the 'Old Lady' as securing a top-four finish could be crucial to the club's future, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, as a number of players would ask to leave if qualification for the Champions League is not achieved.

Add to that, missing out on a place in Europe's elite competition would lead to a loss of around €80 million in revenues.

Chiesa, as Juventus' most valuable asset, could be the man to make way as a result.

And who better for him to sign for than current Champions League holders and Premier League contenders Chelsea, especially for a manager that believes in you.

''The rumours start because we know that Thomas Tuchel loves this player,'' Romano said. ''He thinks Chiesa is one of the best wingers in the game.''

The 24-year-old scored in the Bianconeri's 1-0 win against Chelsea in the Champions League group stage in September.
