Miralem Pjanic has admitted that he is not happy with his current situation at Barcelona, as he struggles to win over coach Ronald Koeman.

Pjanic moved to Barcelona from Juventus last summer in a big-money swap deal which saw Arthur Melo move the other way.

But while the Brazilian has slowly begun to make his mark in Turin, Pjanic is floundering in Barcelona.

He has failed to win a first-team shirt and has started just five of Barcelona’s 23 league matches this season.

“I have played at all the clubs I’ve been at and with all the coaches I’ve had. A situation like this has never happened to me. Of course it’s not easy, I accept it with great difficulty,” Pjanic told Telefoot.

“I don’t have the exact reasons why I’ve not had the playing time I expected.

“I keep working and you have to respect the decisions that are taken, even if you don’t agree. I want to leave my mark at this club.”

Pjanic, 30, has also failed to score or register an assist in the Blaugrana shirt.

He had been Juventus’ key midfielder during four years with the Italian giants, winning four straight Scudetti and reaching the 2017 Champions League final.
