‘No worries’ over Mbappe and Neymar contracts, says PSG sporting director
Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo says that the club have “no worries” that Kylian Mbappe and Neymar will extend their deals with the club.
The superstar forwards are out of contract in 2022, and while Neymar is reportedly close to agreeing new terms, there has been little such noise regarding Mbappe, who is coveted by Real Madrid and Liverpool.

If nothing is signed before the summer, PSG will either have to sell or risk losing one or both for nothing in 2022.
Leonardo is cool over the deals, though.
“You know our intentions,” he told RMC. “We’re speaking with Neymar and Mbappe. We’re trying to reach a conclusion as quickly as possible.
Asked specifically about the Mbappe case, the PSG sporting director said: “We’re talking, we’re moving forward and we’ll see. We will come to a point where we need a conclusion and an idea of what each person’s position is.
“It’s important to be clear… Today, Mbappe is under contract with PSG until June 30, 2022. That’s a fact.
“Today, there are no worries.”
Di Maria ‘on track’ for PSG renewal
While PSG may be waiting on Mbappe and Neymar, a deal is soon expected to be wrapped up for winger Angel Di Maria.
Signed from Manchester United in 2015, Di Maria has emerged as a key player for PSG due to his consistency.
“It’s on the right track,” Leonardo said of the deal. “Di Maria, we will see in the days to come to the point of signing. Today, it’s not signed.”
It is expected he will pen a one-year extension. He previously said that he wanted to extend his deal to play with Lionel Messi at Parc des Princes.
PSG currently lie second in Ligue 1, though they progressed to the quarter-finals of the Champions League on Wednesday thanks to a 5-2 aggregate win over Barcelona. Mbappe scored four of those goals but Neymar was unable to feature because of injury.
