Sergio Ramos’ wife drops Real Madrid exit hint
Sergio Ramos’ future at Real Madrid has been put further in the air by a cryptic message his wife, Pilar Rubio, posted on Instagram.
A legendary figure around the Bernabeu, Ramos’ contract is up in the summer and there is no guarantee that he will commit to extending his 16-year association with the club.

Over that period, the 34-year-old has played 670 times for Real Madrid, putting him at fourth on the all-time list, just 71 short of Raul.
Nevertheless, his time at the club seems to be growing short.
Ramos has been linked to some of Europe’s biggest sides in recent times, with Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain among the clubs interested in him. MLS side Inter Miami have also been linked with a move for him.
Pilar Rubio, meanwhile, has served only to add fuel to the fire that suggests Ramos could leave in the summer.
Posting on her Instagram account, which has 5.4 million followers, she displayed a picture of herself with the captions: “Let’s see what this spring has in store for us…”
What has Ramos said about his future?
Sergio Ramos, meanwhile, has admitted that contract talks with Real Madrid are at an impasse. He stressed, however, that he still has a long career at the top of the game to enjoy.
“I can play five more years at the highest level. If injuries are not too bad, my mentality will help me,” he said a fortnight ago.
“I wish I could say something about my contract, but everything remains the same.
“All I’m thinking about is coming back and finishing the season in the best possible way. There’s no news of my renewal, I wish I could tell you something.
“I’m calm and I’m only thinking about playing again and winning a trophy.
