Haaland’s agent Raiola labelled cheeky and disrespectful over transfer trips
Former Liverpool and Germany midfielder Dietmar Hamann believes Erling Haaland’s father Alf-Inge and his agent Mino Raiola have showed major disrespect to Borussia Dortmund.
Last week, the rumour mill went off the scale when Haaland senior and Raiola were spotted in Barcelona travelling for talks with the Blaugrana about a potential summer transfer involving Erling Haaland.

Though Barcelona are the first team Haaland’s representatives have openly met publicly, it is believed that Raiola has meetings plans with various other elite clubs including Manchester City, Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Liverpool.
Hamann is not happy with this conduct, however, and believes the pair are displaying cheek by touting around a player who still belongs to Dortmund.
“It’s the most important game of the season and you are not able to address this behaviour because you are afraid to upset the player,” Hamann said in reference to Dortmund’s upcoming Champions League game against Man City.
“Dortmund should think about why the players are always walking all over them. They lack leadership there.
“The behaviour of Haaland’s father and Raiola is unspeakable, disrespectful, a cheek. If he wants to go, let him go.
“Dortmund paid a lot of money for an 18-year-old, he should be happy that he can play there.”
Dortmund powerless to stop Raiola
Dortmund caretaker boss Edin Terzic was asked about Raiola’s trips ahead of the Man City game, and admitted there was nothing he could do to stop Haaland’s agent free moving around conducting business.
“It doesn’t affect me because I can’t stop Mino Raiola and Alfie [Alf-Inge] Haaland from traveling.
“We are very happy to have him [Haaland]. He was also happy to be with us again. He is a nice boy. We are proud that he is part of our team.”
Haaland has emerged as one of the most devastating forwards in world football over the past 18 months first with RB Salzburg and now with Dortmund.
In the 2020/21 campaign alone he has scored 33 goals in 31 starts in all competitions.
