The flying winger was one of the world’s highest-rated teenagers just a few years ago when he broke through at Borussia Dortmund.

Chelsea won the race to sign ‘Captain America’ in the summer of 2019 for an estimated €64 million. Now 23 years of age, Pulisic hasn’t quite set the Premier League on fire, with our valuation slightly decreased at €50.7m.

But what other American players feature in the top 10?

FootballTransfers' transfer valuations are calculated in collaboration with SciSports, a world-leading football analytics agency that assesses the relative transfer valuations of over 60,000 professional footballers worldwide. SciSports use multiple data points including current and potential ability, contract length, form, age, and other crucial factors.

FOOTBALLTRANSFERS' MOST VALUABLE PLAYERS IN THE WORLD

In second place is Sergino Dest. The right-back became one of the plethora of young talents to be produced by the Ajax academy, joining Barcelona at the beginning of last season. He is valued at €49.3m.

Dortmund clearly have a knack for unearthing young American talents, as the second third-valued player on our list is Black and Yellow sensation Giovanni Reyna.

Recently given the No.7 shirt at the club after Jadon Sancho left for Manchester United, the 19-year-old is already an established player in Germany and is valued at €47m on our list.

Tyler Adams is the fourth-highest valued United States player, with the RB Leipzig midfielder valued at €34.5m. Despite naturally playing in the middle of the pitch, Adams has often shown his versatility by playing in forward positions and occupying different roles in midfield.
