Luis Suarez slams Messi and Neymar boo-boys
Luis Suarez has defended his former Barcelona team-mates Lionel Messi and Neymar after they were subjected to boos and heckles by PSG fans on Sunday.
Messi and Neymar were constantly booed and whistled by home fans in the 3-0 Ligue 1 win over Bordeaux on Sunday afternoon.
Every touch that the pair made during the game was greeted with jeers, while Neymar was also booed even when he scored PSG’s second goal of the game.
The pair were targeted by fans due to PSG’s elimination by Real Madrid in the Champions League last-16 on Wednesday evening.
PSG were leading 2-0 on aggregate in the Spanish capital going into the final half-hour thanks to a goal from Kylian Mbappe in both legs.
But the Ligue 1 side spectacularly collapsed as Karim Benzema scored a hattrick in just 17 minutes to complete a 3-2 aggregate win for the Spanish side.

“As always, football without memory. Always with you Neymar and Messi. I love you a lot,” Suarez posted on Instagram.
Suarez, of course, was part of a legendary MSN strikeforce with Messi and Neymar from 2013 to 2017.
Together the trio led Barcelona to the 2015 Champions League before Neymar left for PSG in a record-breaking €222 million move in 2017.
It was hoped that Neymar and then Messi when he signed for Barcelona on a Bosman Transfer last summer would take PSG to Champions League glory.
But once again PSG capitulated in the knockout stage, much to the anger of their supporters.
Both Messi and Neymar have been hugely disappointing this season.
Messi has scored just two Ligue 1 goals all season, while Neymar has found the bet only five times in all competitions – none of these in European competition.
