Robert Lewandowski: I only wanted Barcelona
Robert Lewandowski has reiterated his desire to join Barcelona, claiming there is no way back for him at Bayern and that 'something has died in me'.
The Polish striker is desperate to join Barcelona despite having a year left on his contract, however Bayern are refusing to budge on their €40 million valuation of their star player.
The club's refusal to co-operate with Barcelona has frustrated Lewandowski and the 33-year-old confirmed that his 'Bayern story' is 'over.'
Speaking to a podcast, Lewandowski said: "Something inside me went out. And it is impossible to jump over it. Even if you want to be professional, you can't make up for it. I want more emotions in my life."
Lewandowski also confirmed he only wanted to join Barcelona, saying: "No other offers were even considered by me other than that of Barcelona. I've already started to speak Spanish. I have a house in Spain. I want to leave Bayern. That's clear."
Lewandowski's explosive revelation: what else did he say?
Lewandowski was critical of the club's handling of the situation, insisting that loyalty and respect are more important than business.
Lewandowski said: "What kind of player will want to come to Bayern Munich if he knows he can't leave the club? Where is that loyalty and respect?
"If you have been in the club for so many years, you were always ready, you were available, despite the injuries and pain you gave your best.
"I think it will be best to find a good solution for both sides. And not to look for a one-sided decision."
Lewandowski does not plan to participate in the preseason with Bayern Munich or attend the club's training sessions. He does not want to stay at Bayern.

Lewandowski has already reportedly agreed a three-year contract with Barcelona however the Spanish side's well-documented financial issues mean they cannot afford Bayern's demands.
The German side are looking to bring in Sadio Mane as a replacement however Liverpool have put a similar asking price on the forward.
The pressure is now on Bayern to either succumb to their player's demands or consider a lower offer from Barcelona, with Lewandowski not interested in returning to the club.
