Ryan Gravenberch completes €30m Bayern Munich transfer

Bayern Munich have announced the signing of Ryan Gravenberch from Ajax, with the Netherlands midfielder arriving in a transfer worth up to €30 million.
FCB, who will pay between €20-25m up front for the player, with the rest possibly following as bonus payments, have confirmed that Gravenbech arrives on a five-year deal.
Many big European clubs had previously coveted the 20-year-old, with Manchester United thought to have been big fans of him.
Bayern are, understandably, delighted to have landed the prospect.

Sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic told the club's official website: "Ryan Gravenberch will offer a lot to our team. He's one of the biggest talents in Europe, has superb technical ability, always finds solutions in tight spaces, is very dynamic and a goal threat.

Gravenbech: I didn't have to think twice about Bayern
Gravenberch added: "When the offer came from FC Bayern, I didn't have to think about it for long. FC Bayern are one of the biggest clubs around; players from all over the world want to play for this club. I'm coming to Munich to win lots of titles - and FC Bayern are used to winning lots of titles. Anything is possible with this club, including winning the Champions League. The togetherness in this team is very strong, which I like."
The midfielder had indicated as far back as Saturday that this was a transfer that was done, with the official announcement simply confirmation of a deal that was already well known to be going through.
Gravenberch becomes Bayern's first major arrival of the summer, although they are still fighting with players seeking to move out of the club, including Robert Lewandowski and, to a lesser extent, Serge Gnabry.
