Tchouameni delighted by Real Madrid and Liverpool interest
Monaco star Aurelien Tchouameni has admitted that he is happy to see that Real Madrid, Liverpool and PSG are interested in him.
The France midfielder is one of the hottest properties on the transfer market this summer.
According to numerous reports, Real Madrid are in fairly advanced talks to sign Tchouameni in a deal that would cost more than €80 million.
But Madrid have not yet closed a deal for Tchouameni with Monaco – and there are two other major clubs who want to sign the 22-year-old.
WHO ARE THE MOST VALUABLE PLAYERS IN THE WORLD?
Liverpool are looking for a top central midfielder this summer, while PSG are also hoping to bring in a top-class player in the centre of the pitch.
Tchouameni was asked on Sunday for his reaction to the interest in him.
What did Tchouameni say?
"I'm not troubled by that (the rumours), because it's a position I've always wanted to be in,” Tchouameni told TeleFoot.
“As long as I'm followed by the top clubs, that means I'm doing good things."
Tchouameni was then asked whether he had decided which club he will join, to which he replied, “not yet”.
Tchouameni has made 95 apperances in all competitions for Monaco, scoring eight times, after signing from Bordeaux in January 2020 for €20m.
He has also been capped nine times by the France national team, scoring once.
His expected to play a big role in the upcoming World Cup alongside fellow Real Madrid stars Eduardo Camavinga and Karim Benzema.
