Tyrell Malacia on way to Man Utd to sign four-year contract

Tyrell Malacia is on his way to Manchester to sign a four-year contract with the Red Devils from Feyenoord.

Intrepid fans have identified that the left-back is scheduled to fly this afternoon and arrives in Manchester later this evening.

Well connected Feyenoord site 1908.nl shared a tweet earlier which showed Malacia's prospective journey today.

The account also shared details of the contract, which is thought to be a four-year deal with the option of a fifth, and taken care of by his management firm. The fee will be in the region of €20m.

Malacia was for much of the summer thought to be on his way to Lyon, with the Ligue 1 side the front-runners for his services. But United upped their interest after Erik Ten Hag arrived - with the coach an admirer of Malacia's talents back when he was at Ajax.

It looks likely that Malacia could be a deal to kick-start United's summer transfer business, which has been slow to get going so far and has seen more outs than ins at this moment.
