Potter: Don’t sack me and I could be next Klopp or Arteta
Graham Potter has warned Chelsea against sacking him by saying he could be the next Jurgen Klopp or Mikel Arteta.
Potter is at risk of the sack after yet another negative result on Sunday.
Chelsea lost 2-0 to Tottenham in north London, with Oliver Skipp and Harry Kane scoring the goals for the home team.

Potter has won just one of his last 11 games in all competitions, and two of the last 16 - losing 10 of these games.
Chelsea find themselves down in tenth position in the Premier League, 14 points off Champions League qualification.
Calls for Potter to be sacked are getting louder and louder but the Englishman has pleaded for more time.
Indeed, he has cited the examples of Jurgen Klopp and Mikel Arteta who survived calls for them to be sacked at the beginning of their reigns at Liverpool and Arsenal, respectively.
Klopp went on to become one of Liverpool;s most successful managers in history, while Arteta is on course to win Arsenal’s first Premier League title in 19 years this season.
What did Potter say?
“We were talking before the game about watching All or Nothing and Arsenal two years into Mikel’s reign, he is close to getting the sack, people are wanting him out and it is a disaster,” Potter said.
“Obviously now things have changed a little bit but that is just the way it is. You look at Jurgen’s situation. He hasn’t got the results and all of a sudden people want him out.
“That is just the nature of football. Obviously I haven’t done enough at this club to have too much good faith and I also accept that as well but my job is to not worry too much about that.
“I understand the question (about being under pressure), totally and to try to focus on keep helping the team, keep helping the players because I really like these players. They are good lads, they want to do better, they want to win but at the moment we are suffering and that’s my responsibility.”
“I know and can feel they want the results to get better but we are in a tough moment.
“After a result like today and where we are, my focus is on the next match against Leeds. We need to lift the mood, lift spirits and find a good feeling. Hopefully we can get a nice game and three points.”
Potter is said to still retain the support of owner Todd Boehly so will be hoping he can turn things around like Klopp and Arteta did.
