Man Utd shelled out €372m for ONE goal
Manchester United are having the worst start to a season in over 30 years.
They have lost five of their opening 10 Premier League games, finding themselves down in eighth position eight points off the top four.
They are also struggling to qualify for the last-16 of the Champions League after losing two of their opening three matches in the competition.

A key reason for United’s struggles this term has been their misfiring attack, which is the 13th worst in the league when it comes to goals scored.
And more specifically, it is the United attack that has been horribly under-par.
How many goals have Man Utd attackers scored this season?
There are nine registered attackers in Manchester United’s senior squad in 2023-24. In total, they have just one Premier League goal between them.

Rasmus Hojlund was an €85 million summer signing from Atalanta but, despite scoring three times in the Champions League, he has no goals from seven league matches.
Jadon Sancho managed no goals from three appearances before he was frozen out of the squad by manager Erik ten Hag following a much-publicised falling out.
Antony Martial only managed 11 Premier League goals in the previous three seasons before this one. His horrendous form has continued this season, with no goals from eight games so far.
Antony has endured a disastrous season on and off the pitch, and he has zero goals from seven matches in the Premier League.
Alejandro Garnacho was a breakout star for United last term but is finding things much more difficult this time with no goals from eight Premier League matches.
Another South American winger in Facundo Pellistri has no goals from four appearances, while Amad Diallo and Shola Shoretire are yet to make an appearance and so are goalless, also.
This leaves us with Marcus Rashford, who is the only one of Man Utd’s nine attackers to score a goal this season in the Premier League.
Even then, Rashford only has one goal in 10 appearances. This came in the 3-1 defeat to Arsenal on September 3. Having scored 30 goals in all competitions last season, Rashford is struggling much more this time around.
The total cost of Man Utd’s nine attackers in transfer fees comes to €371.5 million. It is shocking to think that despite this outlay, these players have provided only one goal by November.
