Anthony Martial has been scorned by Manchester United fans following the latest reports that he has knocked back offers from clubs to depart Old Trafford.

Sky Sports has reported that Martial is committed to remaining at the club until the summer when his contract is up.

This is despite interest from Marseille, Fenerbahce, and clubs in the Saudi Arabian Pro League. Indeed, the Frenchman turned down these opportunities and is determined to compete for his spot in Erik ten Hag's team, even though he is out of favour with the Red Devils.

Discussions between United, Martial, and his agent regarding his future have taken place, with the current indication being that the one-year option in Martial's contract is unlikely to be triggered by the Red Devils. Consequently, Martial is set to leave United as a free agent when his contract concludes on June 30 this year, spelling an end to nine years with the Premier League giants.

It’s hard been a successful transfer for Martial at Man Utd, but his £250,000 wages have no doubt played a part in him doing just well enough to maintain a place among the side.
