Chelsea make moves in chase for £35m Premier League left back
Chelsea hold serious interest in signing Fulham full back Antonee Robinson this summer, according to a report in GIVEMESPORT.
The United States international has been a Premier League mainstay for the Cottagers this season, and has been generally impressive since signing from Wigan Athletic in 2020.
His performances at left back have attracted the attention of Fulham’s West London rivals, Chelsea, whose priorities in the transfer market this summer include adding cover for Ben Chilwell.
The club are also looking at adding an attacker with Athletic Club's Nico Williams in their sights.
A move for Kvicha Kvaratskhelia, meanwhile, is unlikely to go much further with the Georgian likely to stay with Napoli.

Although Chilwell is an undisputed first-choice for Mauricio Pochettino, he has spent considerable time on the sidelines with injuries.
Chelsea expect big moves at left back
Chelsea signed Marc Cucurella for an initial £55 million from Brighton back in 2022 but the Spaniard has failed to convince in the chances he’s had in the Blues’ first team.
Levi Colwill has also covered the position but his long-term future remains at centre back.
Ian Maatsen and Lewis Hall, meanwhile, are specialists in that area but are on loan at Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle respectively with permanent exits lined up in summer.
Robinson, an Everton academy graduate, has four years left on his Fulham contract with Marco Silva’s side under no pressure to sell.
It is believed a fee in the region of £35 million could be enough for Fulham to consider a sale of the 26-year-old.
Fulham are also thought to be tracking Habib Diallo, in a move that could have significant implications for Chelsea.
Robinson on the radar of Man City and Liverpool
GIVEMESPORT reports that Robinson has been on Chelsea’s scouting list for the last year with Blues analysts now impressed with the improvements in his game. He is described in the report as being “an ideal Premier League full back” with strong recovery traits. Additionally, his defensive work has got better too.
Manchester City have also been credited with interest in Robinson in the recent past while Liverpool are reported to have checked on the defender’s availability ahead of the January transfer window just passed.
He was close to securing a move to AC Milan while still at Wigan during the winter 2019-20 transfer period but a deal collapsed after the Italian side detected a medical issue.
Chelsea have spent over £1 billion on players since the Todd Boehly-led takeover in 2022 but have yet to see a return on that investment.
Big-money players such as Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo, Mykhailo Mudryk have failed to convince since their blockbuster arrivals with Pochettino under pressure in his position.
Brighton's Roberto de Zerbi has been linked with the position and could be the man to unlock the potential in Mudryk, who he worked with at Shakhtar Donetsk.
It is likely that Chelsea will miss out on European football for a second consecutive season with the club all the way down in 11th place in the table.GIVEMESPORT.
