Erik ten Hag has the second BEST Man Utd win rate in history
Despite being one of the most under-fire managers in the Premier League, Erik ten Hag incredibly has the second best win rate in the history of Manchester United.
Since his appointment in the summer of 2022, Ten Hag has overseen 104 games at Man Utd, winning 62, drawing 13 and losing 29.
This gives Ten Hag a win percentage rate of 59.62%.
That win rate is better than any manager in the history of Manchester United apart from Sir Alex Ferguson, who only narrowly betters him.
Ferguson, who oversaw the most successful period of Man Utd’s history by winning 13 Premier League titles and two Champions Leagues, has a slightly superior win rate at 59.7%.
Ten Hag’s win rate is better than another legendary Man Utd manager in Sir Matt Busby, who famously led the club to their first European Cup win in 1968 - a decade after the Munich Air Disaster had wiped out most of the United squad.

Ten Hag’s place at the top of the United win rate rankings will come as a surprise to many football fans.
The Dutchman has been pilloried this season and it is expected that he will be replaced as manager this summer.
Ten Hag enjoyed a decent first season as he took the club back into the Champions League, won the League Cup and reached the FA Cup final.

However, the 2023-24 campaign has been a disaster for Ten Hag. United have lost 12 of their 29 Premier League games and have a negative goal difference. They face a big struggle to finish in the Champions League places, even with fifth position likely to earn a spot in the tweaked competition.
They went out of the League Cup early but worst of all were humiliated in the Champions League group stages.
Despite being drawn in one of the weaker groups together with Galatasaray and Copenhagen, they finished bottom of the pool as the Danes and Bayern Munich progressed.
United picked up just four points and conceded 15 goals, the most ever by an English team in the groups in the history of the tournament.
Ten Hag has fallen out with a host of players during his time at the club, most notably Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho, while there has been scrutiny over his reported bad relationship with Marcus Rashford.
