Chelsea handed KEY boost in Osimhen pursuit
Napoli forward Victor Osimhen is likely to seal a Premier League move this summer, despite interest from Paris Saint-Germain, according to recent reports.
The Nigeria international is expected to leave the Serie A club when the 2023-24 season ends, although Napoli are set to demand his release clause of between €120-130 million is paid in full.
Osimhen, 25, has been identified as Chelsea's primary target ahead of the summer transfer window, with the Blues hoping to land a proven goalscorer on the European stage following several seasons of inconsistency regarding their number nine.

Kai Havertz and Timo Werner both failed to live up to expectations during their time at Stamford Bridge, while Nicolas Jackson has been unable to establish himself as a consistent goalscorer so far this season.
The ex-Villarreal man has impressed in several matches since his move from Spain, but he lacks the killer instinct that Osimhen possesses. As a result, it’s not surprising that Chelsea are pushing hard to complete a deal to sign the Nigerian this summer.

Victor Osimhen to Chelsea?
Chelsea’s hopes of landing the 25-year-old have been boosted following Matteo Moretto’s latest update. He has revealed to CaughtOffside (via Football Italia) that a Premier League switch remains Osimhen’s priority, despite links with PSG.
The Napoli star has been mentioned as a possible replacement for Real Madrid-bound Kylian Mbappe at the Parc des Princes, but Moretto has insisted that a move to the English top flight remains a far more likely scenario.
Osimhen has scored 12 goals and provided two assists in 19 Serie A appearances so far this season, while he also netted twice in the Champions League.
Arsenal have also been linked with a move for the Napoli striker, but FootballTransfers understands that Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres is currently their priority target, meaning Chelsea appear best placed to land Osimhen this summer.
