Erik ten Hag SMASHES Premier League record
Erik ten Hag’s horrific season at Manchester United goes from bad to worse as he sets yet another negative record.
Sky Sports revealed on Saturday, following the 2-2 draw against Brentford, that United have now conceded a barely believable 565 shots in the Premier League this season.
Those 565 shots have come in 32 games, which is an average of 18 shots conceded per match.

This is the highest number of shots that United have conceded in a season since 2003-04, and there are still six games to go to make this an even more historic negative record.
United have been leaking goals heavily this season, with 48 goals conceded in just 32 Premier League matches, leaving them with a negative goal difference.
The Red Devils also let in a whopping 15 goals in just six Champions League group matches as they exited bottom of Group A.
It is no surprise that Man Utd have been letting in so many goals when one considers just how many shots that Andre Onana is facing.
Man Utd shocking record in last 10 games
And the shot count has only been growing as the season has gone on.
Bournemouth had 20 shots (to United’s eight) in the 2-2 draw on Saturday. In last week’s 2-2 draw with Liverpool, their opponents had 28 shots. In the 4-3 defeat before that against Chelsea, the Blues had 28 shots.
Meanwhile Brentford had 31 shots in the 1-1 draw on March 30.
Everton attempted 23 shots during United’s 2-0 win over them before the international break. Before that Man City had 27 attempts, Fulham 17, Luton Town 22, Aston Villa 23 and West Ham 22.
It goes on and on.
In the last 10 games, Man Utd have conceded 241 shots. An average of over 24 shots a match.

It is no surprise, then, that Man Utd have struggled so much this season with the club 10 points off a Champions League place and with only the FA Cup to play for in terms of a trophy.
Ten Hag record at Man Utd
Ten Hag joined Man Utd in the summer of 2022 and enjoyed a decent first season as he took the club back into the Champions League, won the League Cup and reached the FA Cup final.
However, the 2023-24 campaign has been a total disaster for Ten Hag. United have lost 12 of their 32 Premier League games and have a goal difference of -1.
They went out of the League Cup early but worst of all were humiliated in the Champions League group stages.
Ten Hag has fallen out with a host of players during his time at the club, most notably Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho, while there has been scrutiny over his reported bad relationship with Marcus Rashford.
The Dutchman is expected to be sacked at the end of the season.
