Transfer decision Man Utd ‘ABSOLUTELY’ set upon confirmed by Ten Hag
The future of Bruno Fernandes has been called into question over recent days, but Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has emphatically scotched speculation that his captain could depart this summer.
Rumours linking Bruno with a switch to Bayern Munich or the Saudi Pro League emerged this week amid claims that the Red Devils’ owners are ready to take desperate measures to change up the Old Trafford squad.
Such a move would not go down well with club legends Rio Ferdinand and Wayne Rooney, who have both come out in praise the former Sporting CP star.

Ten Hag, though, has shot down suggestions that Fernandes could depart, saying the club 'absolutely' wants to retain their captain.
"No, absolutely the club wants to keep Bruno," Ten Hag said. "There's no question, I think. I have to see the interview but, as far as I know, he loves Manchester United.
"He gives always his best. He's an example, even with injuries he's playing. He loves football, but he wants to win."
My future in club's hands, says Bruno
Fernandes, too, played down the prospect of an unexpected summer departure from Old Trafford.
The Portuguese international told Sky Sports: “I feel that the club wants me to be a part of the future, so, as I said always, I don't want to be a player that the club doesn't want to have.
“If for some reason they don't want to have me, I will go, but if they want me I will stay.”

Bruno is under contract with Manchester United until 2026, while the club holds the option for a one-year extension in this agreement.
His Estimated Transfer Value stands at €64.5 million, which is virtually identical to the sum that Man Utd paid Sporting CP for him during the January 2020 transfer window.
He has since gone on to play 231 times for the club, scoring 79 goals and creating 65 more.
