Earlier in the season, it was announced that the defender would be leaving Chelsea when his contract runs out in June, meaning the Cherries' visit to West London would be his lasting outing for the side.

After the win over Bournemouth, Silva spoke to the home supporter and looked to be weeping.

He told the fans: "I love you so much guys. I will miss you. Bye bye.”

Silva has been a rock for Chelsea over the past four years, playing 155 games in all competitions and scoring nine goals in that time.

With the club, he's won the Champions League, Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup: 2021.

Chelsea supporters have been paying their respects to Silva online, while the club and player himself have acknowledged the departure.
