Chelsea leading Man Utd in transfer race for Olise - Romano
Chelsea are further ahead in the race for Michael Olise, who is also liked by Manchester United.
Fabrizio Romano has stated that both teams are hoping to sign the Crystal Palace winger but it’s the Blues that are currently edging out the Red Devils.
Olise turned down the chance to join Chelsea last summer and instead signed a fresh deal with Palace. But the club are back in the hunt for his signature, while Man Utd are looking at other options.

Romano said via his YouTube channel: “As it stands, Chelsea are further in the race for Michael Olise. Man Utd are still interested though, and will look to do a deal once the manager situation is concluded”.
FootballTransfers revealed that Man Utd are among the clubs looking at Olise and that is a boyhood supporter of the Red Devils.
Last week, Athletic reporter David Ornstein said that the Crystal Palace star is hoping to join a Champions League-calibre club this summer.

Olise has a set price of €70 million due to his release clause so it’s down to the player to make a decision about which club to choose from.
Man Utd do consider Olise one of their top summer targets but their lack of European football may hinder their chances of signing him.
Ornstein on Olise
Speaking on The Athletic's YouTube channel, Ornstein said that those close to Olise expect him to move to the highest level possible upon leaving Palace. Indeed, Chelsea nor Man Utd can offer him Champions League football.
"This is somebody there is a feeling around that he should be aiming as high as possible. You know, I've always been led to believe that Champions League would be the step he would take after Crystal Palace," Ornstein said.
"Now that's not ruling out a really exciting project. If he holds talks with Man Utd and he really likes what he hears and the numbers are right -because they are a team interested in him - and it all adds up, then maybe something does happen there."
"But I just think you need to know with Michael Olise that if Champions League clubs are in the frame and he is going to leave what is a really stable and exciting project at Crystal Palace right now under Oliver Glasner, with so many talented players, then you would imagine he would be looking for the step that's really going to allow him to challenge for - and win - the biggest trophies in world football."
