Mamardashvili reveals future will be resolved 'tomorrow' with Liverpool 'first in line'
Euro 2024 superstar Giorgi Mamardashvili has revealed his future will be resolved in the coming days, with Liverpool reportedly becoming the latest team to register an interest in the Valencia goalkeeper.
Mamardashvili has seen his profile grow while playing for Georgia in the Euros, with the 23-year-old making 20 saves during the group stage – seven more than any other keeper.
Valencia are expected to sell Mamardashvili this summer, having already signed his replacement, and Newcastle are already thought to have seen an offer of €25 million turned down.

The La Liga side are believed to be holding out for a fee of around €40m for their number one and a breakthrough could perhaps come sooner rather than later, with Mamardashvili stating his future will be ‘clear’ by the end of the month.
Speaking to Spanish media at the Euros, he said: “My future? My future will be clear before tomorrow afternoon.
The revelation comes amid a claim from MARCA reporter Diego Pico that Liverpool represent ‘a new door’ for Mamardashvili, with Arne Slot’s side said to be ‘first in line’ along with Newcastle.
Liverpool eye Mamardashvili as Saudi Pro League teams target Alisson
Liverpool could find themselves in the market for a new goalkeeper this summer, with interest set to intensify in Alisson, who is likely to be the target of approaches from the Saudi Pro League.
Pico has claimed that Liverpool already have a ‘multi-million’ offer from Saudi Arabia for Brazilian, hence the interest in Mamardashvili.

However, any rapid progression in talks for Mamardashvili would be a surprise given his involvement at EURO 2024, with Georgia set to face Spain in the knockouts this weekend.
Mamardashvili’s statement that his future will be resolved ‘tomorrow’ is also curious timing, with teams requiring players to be sold by the end of June to count on the books for the current season.
Valencia are also unlikely to be able to tie Mamardashvili down to a new contract given their securing of his replacement already and the interest in their star man.
Consequently, it remains to be seen how Mamardashvili’s future can be resolved in the upcoming days, with a transfer to the Premier League perhaps the most likely outcome for EURO 2024’s breakout star.
