EXCLUSIVE: Arsenal contact agents of Tottenham target Eze
Arsenal are showing interest in Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze this window and are looking to beat Tottenham and Liverpool to his signature, FootballTransfers has been told.
We understand that the Gunners contacted his agents earlier this month to gauge his interest in a move to the Emirates.
No further contact has occurred between the parties or clubs since then but sources inform us that the attacker remains a target for Mikel Arteta.

We understand that Eze is hesitant to leave Palace for a club that cannot assure him first-team football, which could make a deal complicated.
Sources have also informed us that Liverpool have indeed expressed a concrete interest in the 26-year-old.
But the Reds will only pursue the possibility of signing Eze if they lose Luis Diaz to Barcelona or any other club this summer.
The Palace star is said to favour a move to Liverpool over Arsenal due to the latter's inability to guarantee him a starting spot for next season, whereas at Anfield he feels he could be a starter.
Tottenham lead race for Eze
Currently, Tottenham remain the frontrunner for Eze's signature. Further discussions are expected once returns from the Euros with England.
Eze was a standout performer for Crystal Palace last season, particularly in the second half of the season, where he played alongside Michael Olise and Jean-Philippe Mateta as an attacking trio.

He enjoyed a fruitful season for Palace last term, with 11 goals and four assists in 27 Premier League games.
Palace have already lost Olise to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich for a potential €70.9m. The side would rather keep Eze for another season at least, but the South London club will be tested.
Eze joined Palace in 2020 from Queens Park Rangers for £20m. He scored 14 goals in 46 appearances in the Championship for QPR in his final season there. (
