Arsenal Transfer News Today: Gyokeres UPDATE, Two Argentines WANTED and Osimhen LATEST
All the latest Arsenal transfer news for 29 July in one place, including updates on Viktor Gyokeres, Victor Osimhen and Julian Alvarez.
Viktor Gyokeres update
Viktor Gyokeres has been on Arsenal's transfer radar for some time. Mikel Arteta definitely wants to add another striker to his squad.
However, while Arsenal have always admired Gyokeres, the biggest obstacle for the Gunners has been Sporting CP's transfer demands.

Sporting are holding out for his €100m release clause in full. Arsenal so far remain reluctant to buy Gyokeres at that price.
But HITC reports that the club is still keeping tabs on the Swedish striker. According to their report Arsenal sent scouts to watch him in action this weekend as Sporting took on Athletic Bilbao.
Whether the Gunners make a move though remains to be seen.
Victor Osimhen approach made
Arsenal are clearly ramping up their pursuit of a no.9 for Mikel Arteta. As well as observing Viktor Gyokeres over the weekend, the club has also reportedly entered the race for another Victor.
According to Corriere dello Sport Arsenal have opened talks to sign Victor Osimhen and have enquired to Napoli about his potential transfer after a move to PSG looks to be on the verge of collapsing.
Osimhen has a release clause of €130m, which similarly to Gyokeres, Arsenal will not be able to pay.

However, Osimhen is understood to be keen to moving onto pastures new and that could help force Napoli's hands.
This move could be one to keep an eye on as we get to the latter stages of the transfer window.
Arsenal want Julian Alvarez
Osimhen and Gyokeres are not the only strikers the club is reportedly in for. According to another report, Arsenal have also set eyes on Julian Alvarez.
The Manchester City forward is believed to be open to a move away from the Etihad in favour of more game time.
However, Manchester City will not want to let go of him as he is viewed as key part of Pep Guardiola's squad.
Nonetheless, according to TEAMTALK, Arsenal have joined the list of interested parties with both Chelsea and Atletico Madrid also open to making a move for the Argentine.
Likewise with Osimhen, this is one to watch.
Another Argentine targeted
Alvarez is not the only Argentine on Arsenal's radar either. There are reports that the club is eyeing an Argentine midfielder as well.
According to Bolavip Arsenal have entered the race for Boca Juniors midfielder Ezequiel Fernandez.
The 22 year old has enjoyed an excellent campaign for Boca Juniors and he has been linked with a host of top European clubs, including Atletico Madrid, Sevilla, Real Betis, Girona, AC Milan, Benfica, Porto and Brighton.
Arsenal are among those teams monitoring his situation with Arteta keen to bring in another holding midfielder as well.
