Matthijs De Ligt to Man Utd
Matthijs de Ligt could well be on his way to Man Utd this week after it was reported by Sky Germany that the Red Devils and Bayern Munich are in talks over a deal for the former Ajax man.
It's thought that the defender's agent Rafaela Pimenta is working on the move as the club looks to expand their Dutch contingent.
David Ornstein reported that the move would be 'independent' of the ongoing Jarrad Branthwaite transfer, with the Red Devils hoping to bolster both sides of central defence.
It's thought that De Ligt has been offered a five-year contract until 2029 and wants the move to Old Trafford.
Riccardo Calafiori to Arsenal
Riccardo Calafiori has already reached an agreement on personal terms with Arsenal. The Italy international has settled on a five-year contract that will see him earn €4 million per year, but there still remains the issue over a fee. Bologna, are holding out for a straight €50 million transfer fee and the Serie A side also want to put a massive 40-50 per cent sell-on clause in the deal.
According to Resto del Carlino, Bologna are already in the market for a new defender, however, so there are signs that they are anticipating his departure.
Alvaro Morata to AC Milan
After helping his side win Euro 2024, Alvaro Morata could be set for a move to AC Milan.
The Atletico Madrid attacker has a €13m release clause in his contract, with Fabrizio Romano saying that the Italians intend on triggering it.
The veteran has verbally agreed on a four-year deal at Milan- while a medical is expected to take place this week. It would mark a return to Italy for Morata, who had spent time with Juventus between 2014 and 2016.
Nico Williams to Barcelona
Barcelona have made Nico Willams a major target. The Spanish club's financial issues are well-documented but LaLiga president Javier Tebas recently revealed that they are very close to being able to sign the Atletic Club star
Williams has been one of the breakout performers of Euro 2024, with his goal against England helping Spain win the competition.
And Tebas has claimed that a deal is possible. "I think he has a 58 million release clause: when you buy for 58 million, the amortisation is divided by the years of the contract; if you sign him for three, it would be less than 20 million per year, plus what you pay the player."
"Barca will be able to reach those amounts, perfectly acceptable if they are within the 1:1 norm. It is a club that is close to 1 billion in turnover, it can be in that [1:1] line."
Desire Doue to Bayern Munich
Desire Doue has been linked to a plethora of clubs after his breakout season in Rennes.
Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg recently said that a phone conversation took place between the youngster and Bayern head coach Vincent Kompany.
It's thought that Bayern are still pushing to sign the 19-year-old and are preparing a new and second offer after their initial one failed.
He also stated that there are 'advanced talks between Bayern and Doue and between the clubs.' ▫️Rennes are looking for €60m plus add-ons.
