Chelsea Transfer News Today: Chilwell could LEAVE, Williams DAGGER, Chalobah FORCED OUT
FootballTransfers runs through the latest Chelsea football transfer news updates, including the latest on Ben Chilwell, Nico Williams and Trevoh Chalobah.
Ben Chilwell could leave
Chelsea could sell vice-captain Ben Chilwell this summer, according to The Athletic.
The Blues have already offloaded Ian Maatsen and Lewis Hall, but they have signed the unproven duo of Renato Veiga from Basel and Caleb Wiley from Atlanta United, while Marc Cucurella appears to be back to his best.

Trevoh Chalobah ‘forced out’
Trevoh Chalobah believes Chelsea are forcing him out of the club following his omission from the club’s pre-season tour of the USA.
The Englishman was an impressive performer last campaign, but he has been left at home following the return to fitness of Wesley Fofana and the summer signing of Tosin Adarabioyo.
According to The Guardian, Chalobah feels he is being forced out against his will, while he will not accept a move to the first club who submits an offer.
Ajax goalkeeper targeted
Ajax are willing to offload Diant Ramaj this summer and Chelsea are among the clubs interested in the 22-year-old goalkeeper, as per Di Marzio.
The Blues have reportedly been informed on the conditions of a potential deal as they search for a new shot-stopper.
Arsenal are also interested in Ramaj, FootballTransfers understands, and clubs from Spain are eyeing a possible loan move.
Meanwhile, Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal) and James Trafford (Burnley) have been ruled out as targets, according to The Athletic.
Nico Williams blow
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Nico Williams is set to give his final approval to join Barcelona this summer.
The Blaugrana have been battling Chelsea for the Athletic Club winger, who has a €58 million release clause, and they look set to win the race for his signature.
“Barcelona are increasingly confident to get [the] final green light from Nico Williams to contract terms,” Romano tweeted.
“Club now confident about having convinced Nico about the project, with La Liga approval for Financial Fair Play as key step. More contacts to follow this week.”
Three stars to be sold
Chelsea are reportedly willing to sell Cesare Casadei, David Datro Fofana and Djordje Petrovic.
The Athletic state that all three players could be sold, while the same report indicates that the west London club want to sign at least two or three more players this summer.
Casadei joined Chelsea in the summer of 2022, while Datro Fofana and Petrovic were both purchased in 2023. They cost a combined €43m and have amassed just 46 first-team appearances between them.
Dominic Solanke ruled out
Dominic Solanke is unlikely to re-join Chelsea this summer due to his release clause at Bournemouth.
That is according to Football Insider, who have reported that Solanke’s €77m price tag has been deemed too expensive by the Stamford Bridge outfit.
