Fabrizio Romano gives 'here we go' to major Man Utd transfer
Manchester United are continuing to make progress in the transfer market, with Fabrizio Romano giving his trademark ‘here we go’ to another long-running saga.
United have been busy in the early stages of the window, having confirmed the €42.5 million signing of Joshua Zirkzee last week, while the likes of Willy Kambwala and Donny van de Beek have left the club this summer.
And another major deal could be close to completion, with Marseille reaching an agreement to sign Mason Greenwood on a permanent transfer.

The Ligue 1 side have beat out teams such as Lazio, Napoli and Juventus for Greenwood’s signature, with United set to receive a fee of up to €30m for the 22-year-old.
The deal will also include a significant sell-on clause, thought to be around 50%, and Greenwood is now en route to Marseille for a medical ahead and to finalise a contract until 2029.
The news comes just as United made a breakthrough on an incoming deal from France, with Leny Yoro set to travel to Old Trafford for a medical after Lille accepted a bid worth €62m for the wonderkid.
Greenwood sale gives Man Utd flexibility in the transfer market
The sale of Greenwood will help fund the move for Yoro, with United also keen to sign an additional defender as well as a midfielder, although a lot will depend on outgoings.
The likes of Casemiro and Victor Lindelof are still expected to leave United this summer, while offers will be invited for Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire among others.

Man Utd had been hoping to resolve the future of Greenwood for a long time, having given the forward no chance of resurrecting his career at the club after his arrest in 2022.
Greenwood was entering the final 12 months of his contract with the club and had attracted interest from a host of European sides after impressing while on loan at La Liga outfit Getafe last season.
