Chelsea could face striker headache with Jackson exit
Nicolas Jackson remains unsettled at Chelsea and an exit from Stamford Bridge is possible, according to reports.
The forward wanted Mauricio Pochettino to remain as head coach while the recents addition of Samu Omorodion and Marc Guiu has made the striker become unhappy, reports HITC.
When the Argentine left the club, the 22-year-old posted a picture of himself with Pochettino on Instagram and added two facepalm emojis before publishing the following message, which again featured a facepalm emoji.

"Love you coach. Wish we could stay together more. But may God continue to bless you and your family. Thanks for the advices and support, you're a true lion and a fighter, wish you all the best." Record signing Moises Caicedo included an emoji shedding a tear in his social media message, while full-back Marc Cucurella, whose Chelsea career was recently revived by Pochettino, posted three shocked emojis.
The Telegraph goes so far as to claim that the Chelsea players' WhatsApp groups had gone 'into meltdown' following the news. One source told the outlet: "The players could not believe it. They had no idea until the news broke and it started going around their WhatsApp groups. Most of them really liked Poch, so they were pretty upset.
The publication have also reported that Chelsea are keen on Napoli’s Victor Osimhen - another player who could see reduced minutes for Jackson.
Chelsea bring in Neto
But Liam Twomey revealed on The Athletic FC podcast that Omorodion is being signed as a second or third-choice striker, brought in to compete with Jackson to be a back-up. Incredibly Chelsea Blues want to sign two further attackers, a wing-forward and a striker.
Their winger, though, emerged to be Pedro Neto. The now-former Wolves player joined Chelsea after they agreed a €63m fee with Wolves. The Portugal international is set to be unveiled at Stamford Bridge when the side face Inter.
Jackson joined Chelsea last summer for €37m from Villarreal. In his inaugural season, he netted 14 Premier League goals for the club. He is in the seventh year of his eight-year deal with the Blues.
